It depeds on a definition of a diet.
Diet: a special course of food to which a person restricts themselves, either to lose weight or for medical reasons.
So what i understand the diet in the usual understanding is considered as a restriction. So if you eat what makes you feel good and what you like eating, and this is what's mostly considered healthy, it's not necessarily diet (it may be, llike you said, but i think just in cases when you restrict yourself from eating certain things).

whatev IM DIETING TOO GIRL! what are you having?
i have water and tea for breakfast and i skip morning tea (who needs food in between the morning and lunch? not this bitch when i’m dieting lol) JUST DRINK WATER IT KILLS YOUR APPETITE
for lunch, i have half a quest bar (i chop it up real nice).
one Quest bar is 181 calories for the birthday cake so it’s 90 calories for lunch plus i usually have some fruit like a few blueberries or a few strawberries so my brain works (add on another 20 so around 110 for lunch). Quest bars have a lot of fibre so it’s rly good for dieting.
i have a piece of fruit after school if i’ve got time, otherwise i’ll just drink more water or have a quick 81-calorie coffee for an energy boost. By now i’m usually grumpy and i have dance or sport later so i need the energy to function lol.
i’ll eat dinner normally, skip out on the carbs and eat the veggies i suppose and have a lil sweetness for dessert (so like more fruit.)
that’s a day and i aim for under 500-cals but i go under 800-cals if i’m feeling happy with myself lol

exactly but if you normally eat like "normal" food food without restrictions then suddenly eat healthy like cut the fat, fried, sweet, too salty foods then that might be considered a diet when to someone else it might just be their normal food

True.
Especially if you consider eating like that just for a certain period of time.
For the OP, if they are thinking about a diet:
I think the best 'diet' would be something, that you can manage forever.
Just a balanced diet with everything, eating foods you crave, but not restricting yourself, because in such case this can work only for some time.
Also if you start eating less fried, sweet food etc, it's good to do it gradually, because at the end you'll end up disliking those kind of foods an you won't have to restrict yourself from it.
Also addiction to sugar and processed food can be a real thing.

This is awesome. My diet is kind of unhealthy. I just eat as little as possible and get depressed when i do eat and when i do i binge. I started this thread thinking i should get a dieting partner i can complain to whenever i feel like eating lol. so really my diet has been me suffering lol. I wish i was more like you keep it up bestie

it is important to eat moderately ,exercise etc in order to be healthy

well i’m trying to get down to 48kg, that’s my goal. I didn’t eat breakfast very often to begin with, so it’s ag and i don’t get hungry in the day (only at night whoops)

plus u can try eating fruit moderately
i eat fruit everyday but not alot
eating alot actually makes u gain weight
i heard that watermelon is terrible for diet because of the water content but i eat any fruit lmao
but maybe u should not follow me now since i weigh around 44 - 47 kg all these years

woah really? I just don’t get hungry in the morning...and in the afternoons i can hold out for a little while longer. Dinner is iffy though...
how much do you eat in a day? your weight is my ult goal babes..

u should eat on time for the sake for your health
ppl say do not drink water only when u are thirsty
imma tend to eat lil for breakfast
i eat around 1 and a half scoop for every meal ( idk how to measure)
i eat more vege and protein to sustain hunger plus i eat fruit too
once u practise eating lesser for some time ,u will get used to it plus dr said that it is healthier to eat till u are 70 percent full
i also try to limit salty ,sweet ,oily ,too spicy stuff
stress management is important too
some ppl cannot lose weight because they owerwork
