By design they chose a goodbye hiatus song instead of Run BTS that has already surpassed it everywhere. But compared to their male peers they are still light years ahead while Blackpink lost to 4 gir| groups in 2022 and didn't even make the top 20 acts with most points in 2023 but BTS did. (top 10) If that is the hill you want to die on fine.

NewJeans 2023 cumulative Spotify streams surpassed BlackPink's 2022 cumulative Spotify streams, which was the year they came back with a new album.
Once NewJeans expand their discography and have more songs to stream on Spotify, it's not even going to be close anymore.
