I kept thinking about why they made that particular song until I finally found the answer.
I got a feeling that it has to do with the investors and probably because they have to release something while people wait for their album . I'm waiting for their album that's what I'm taking more seriously and looking forward to if I'm honest.
They have no plan here. I think Ahyeon's hiatus, the BP drama, YG's legal's troubles, Batter Up missing -- it's just a lot of events that have definitely messed up their rollout and have YG scrambling and reacting with Babymonster.
They probably want to keep BM relevant with some music but aren't promoting because they're planning to treat the album with Ahyeon like a debut do-over.

Even I'm confused as to why we needed to have this song, their predebut song "Dream" was miles better than this was and actually felt geniune.
Stuck in the middle is a boring love ballad that does nothing for the girls' popularity.
