There have always been songs that are shorter than 3 min, for example Girls' Day -Bubble around 2.35.

yeah, but 2.40 is not "2 min". Well, I as I said maybe it's a trend of fewer songs that is around 4 or longer, but I can't really see any big trend of songs being shorter than 2.30

Yes, they are 2 minute songs.

One more example, ive - baddie 2:34. Most of those songs don't have bridge to make them shorter. It's not a kpop trend, it's a western trend too. I have no idea how you haven't noticed this, we've discussed about it here too. BlackpinkHouse back me up!!

OMG i've already ranted about it on multiple threads this past week lol, but i still have enough venom in the tank for one more rant omg .

The lack of storytelling and anything approaching music, whether we're talking about chord progressions, bridges, real vocals, real humans playing real instruments...now soulless, passionless computer chips are being used to anesthetize the masses with senseless repetitive background noise disguised as "songs".

There is more musicality in this fucking GUITAR COVER of a legendary 80s ballad than there is in the entire discography of New Jeans for example (except we can leave OMG out of it, that was a bop and a half).

Imagine how bad it is when some rando on the Internet can replace the greatest vocalist in rock history, Steve Perry, with his guitar and still give us a song that is 100000x more impactful musically than 11 of NJ's 12 jingles.

God's Menu is one of the best well-executed short K-pop songs I've heard so far. It has all the basic structures to create a song, including a bridge. Sounds longer than It actually is.
