Can someone explain why hype boy is such a mega success?

While everyone was doing girl crush; New Jeans did the exact opposite. Plus the chorus is catchy af reminds me of something Spice Girls would do

New jeans concept is the exact opposite, it’s teen love/infatuation with a guy/partner. It’s the same reason Ditto and especially OMG (which is essentially a praise/bragging about a man being amazing).

So that’s why i enjoy their music. It’s nice innocent love at its core

It's just a great song, everything about it hits, and the delivery was top notch.

It is one of the best K-Pop songs I have EVER heard and the main reason NewJeans pulled me into their world.

There is literally not a single part of the song I don't love from the second it begins until the second it ends, and the choreography only enhances the song and lifts it to even greater heights when performed.

There is a reason NewJeans kicked off their debut U.S. stage at Lolla with Hype Boy.

And their debut Hype Boy stage is when I decided, yep, these girls have IT.

Hype Boy is pop perfection.
