This is still the most underrated girl group song of the 3rd generation

This should've been the song to take OMG to top tier way back in 2015, and I won't tolerate any arguments to the contrary. Don't @ me. Unless you agree.

"Ethereal" is the perfect word to describe the aesthetic and ambience of this song. Trust me, I remember very vividly how people reacted when it first released, and we all loved it. Korea just wasn't ready for such a dreamy, mythical concept at the time, I guess.

Closer is legitimately deserving of being recognized as a K-Pop classic, as it was an extreme departure from the trendy sounds back in 2015.

Nine years later and it's still a one of kind song. It's timeless.

They were always so overlooked and underrated in the early years of their careers, and I never understood it. As soon as they dropped Closer, I knew they weren't the cookie cutter cute concept girl group many probably wrote them off as when they debuted with Cupid (there were A LOT more sugary sweet cute concepts). Cupid was a bop too though honestly.

I think Secret Garden might have been their first semi-hit on the charts, if I recall. I agree that it's also a beautiful song.

These girls have always been so talented. I was not shocked in any way when they gave Mamamoo a run for their money on Queendom.
