I like both groups a lot actually, slightly prefer Le Sserafim because of their 2022 songs.

Btw, I think TheBadGuy have a point here. I could see Newjeans releasing this song, has their style, their vibe.

Kpop fans started calling every Softlight pop song a Newjeans song. Also of course, these groups will make all kinds of songs. Every groups did this retro newjeans style. Since Newjeans made this type of songs famous, it is normal for all companies to try it. Even SM sometimes gives Shinee song to Nct and Nct song to Exo or Shinee. Kpop fans don't realize how much they restrict artists and groups by expecting companies to always deliver the same style of songs. I like when kpop groups try other groups styles. This shows that Le Sserafim is a versatile group. They can definitely do it both ways.

They give off different vibes for me though. PN is elegant sleek pop while newjeans are more dreamy ethereal pop

Of course, New Jeans is the blueprint these days.

It doesn't seem they anticipated PN success at all.
