The comments are hilarious but ngl I've seen enough of these "confusions" by american hosts that at this point I feel they only do it so they get engagement on social media, pretty sure it was on purpose and we will keep seeing this from time to time. There's no way he knew which song he was referencing without knowing the group. And it's definitely not the first time stuff like this happens - I've seen this happen to 3rd gen groups - so I believe it's 100% intentional and I think they do it because they can get away with it since it's kpop. I feel sorry for Le Sserafim because it feels like they're being disrespected and the laugh is at their expense.
