Will 2024 mark the end of Kpop as we know it?

The thing is if one act is seen as getting behind in Korea it is seen as a sign of weakness around the world.
Which is why IU, not really relevant outside of Korea, was able to be ranked in the same league with BTS and slightly above BP in Korea, and every single KPop fan saw the statistics where IU is ranked #1 in Korea over everyone , including BTS, else.
It will be good if NJ can tour Europe and USA, but for 2024, IU might have an advantage if NJ is slow on launching its ventures outside of Asia.

Most likely Dec 31, 2025. Since as long as it is technically in 2025 they did tell the truth.

Your prediction of 80+ shows in a singular world tour is pretty wild for K-pop standards. I think Born Pink tied Big Bang's "Made World" tour for most amount of shows (66), although Big Bang went on another tour right after. Breaking that record by a huge amount and doing 80+ for their 3rd world tour would mean probably a 14-16 month tour and I'm not sure if I can see that happening.

2024 will be the last year of 4th gen debuts. I think 2025 will be the start of 5th gen although not sure what month.
