It took Love Dive two months to reach #1 on Melon Daily/Weekly. It took on digital beasts like Psy, Bigbang, and Gidle and outlasted all of them to chart #1 in June after being released in April.
We could see the same thing happening with EW, taking on Jennie's and Akmu's first punches head on but still surviving and rallying now. Imagine if it reaches #1 in November after being released in September.

We'll have to see. There's a lot of new releases coming soon. But it still is very impressive that a ballad with zero promotion is doing so well on kcharts.

I am very mixed about it. I still love the vocals so much and the verses but the chorus is still not hitting at all and the bridge is boring. Still a borderline blop/bop. Kitsch was similar with the verses and prechorus being epic while the chorus was a letdown but for some reason, it's a far better overall song, a 9 out of 10 at least.
I am feeling all kinds of bitter about OTR though, that song is just as good as I AM and it should be celebrating its 500th PAK today at least.

i cant lie, man. otr is way better imo. guess i'm just out of touch with the younger crowd if this is what they think should be pushing for the top spot

I actually like “Baddie” a bit now, but it’s nowhere near the magic that is “Either Way.”
