i believe both nj and jk will enlist in the marines this autumn and spring next year... which means only 15 months for both of them...
All will be back by june 2025.... 🤞

yoongi and the rest of bts are eligible and had proposed military postponement up to 2 years because they are the recipient of order of cultural merit, the highest cultural award from president in korea, before their limit age of enlistment
i suppose kai didn't get one, and therefore the procedure of enlistment is similar with every eligible korean men, to confirm the call from military before the end of his 28th year old age (international)
for "forcing" enlistment idk much what that means and why because i only follow bts' news about it and every time the members are the one initiating enlistment process
and yoongi is not that much older
he's only one year older than kai -
All BTS members have been granted postponement till they complete 30 years of age aka their 31st birthday. There was a special law enacted in South Korea for BTS and they all got the postponement under that law. So technically Yoongi could have waited till his 31st bday next year but he cancelled his postponement just like Jin did and decided to enlist earlier.

The only thing in my mind, the quicker they go the quicker they will come back.
BTS are mature men who have been through multiple tough situations in their life. We don't know what the reality is, but both Jin and Jhope seem to be thriving. I hope the enlistment will be a somewhat positive process for all seven, instead of a negative.
Love you to the moon and back Yoongi, waiting for the future.

Who says he is not willing to enlist? He said he has a mini album to release in November and the Big Hit has said they will all be enlisted by the end of the year.

And even if he enlists next year 2025 plan is still on. Same goes for 2027 if he decides to wait till then. bored people need to stop being bitter, 2025 is happening, and they'll come back bigger than ever.

It doesn't really matter whether its 2025 or 2026. BTS has already been in the industry for 10 years. They've already achieved so much anyways. After they comeback from military, I don't even expect them to release an album every year. Seeing them do solo activities, I realized how much they needed this to grow as individual.
If SK government exempted them, maybe they could have fought back the enemies, reach new peak and go on a world tour. Its better not to think of what could have been because maybe life has a better plan.
