Knetz Say ITZYs Music Hasn't Been Worth Listening To Since "ICY"

omggg

That's funny seeing as Wannabe came right after that.

They are more brutal than me lol
I liked Not Shy
-
Nah, i would say their music was great till wannabe, it went downhill after that
-
and those are probably same people who listened to Sneakers when Chaeryeong went to drink with Youngji lol
-
The lowkey shade at Not Shy tells me they have no taste. I can concede the downturn began at Loco though.

Despite ITZY's "plunge", Chaeryeong only seems to get more & more popular with Knetizens. When I was in Korea last year, I can't tell you how many times someone asked me if in the US does Chaeryeong go viral like she does there. They def brought up the drinking episode and they often brought up Amazing Saturday and how she dominated Key.

A lot of people say "Not Shy" was the last good title track

False, but Icy is their best song. Just watched it again and it was so much fun.
Itzy had a string of like 5 straight bops, until Loco broke the streak . Then it's been hit or miss, with Boys, Sneakers, and Bet On Me being bops and Loco, Cheshire, the other prerelease this comeback and now Cake being flops/blops.

Wannabe for me and yep 100% agree

I believe at this point, JYP just have their target audience set for kids and teens...which is okay.
But a lot of kpop listeners in Korea are between 18 - 27.
So the "childish" songs, could come off as out of date or cringe.
people still gonna give "Cake" a chance, because it's a JYP group, but the results of their now, compared to when they first debuted is crazy lol

They’re low IQ losers acting like a bunch of group think followers. Yah, we know it’s cool to pick on Itzy but this album is probably their most genuine work. None of my business has fresh lyrics and melody for kpop and Bet on Me, a love myself -it’s me against the world type anthem that every kpop group has made (terribly) is actually good. You can hear the pain in growth in their vocals.
Icy was loud. And Bad. They shouldn’t wanna stay in that era.
