I'm glad you enjoy your favs having payola but it doesn't make sense no matter the mental gymnastics you're spinning why a song that will end its first week with 110M+ streams is losing out to ANYONE in the top 10. It's common sense and math.

There's no way a Latto feature is in any way comparable (both by cost and by impact) to a premium placement on TTH lol.

That said, I get why Hybe/Ador wants to give the extra push to New Jeans because they're still in their rapid expansion phase. I even agree it's the right move and I don't blame them at all.

It's just suspicious that JK wouldn't receive higher placement given his high profile and streams. It shows that TTH really is all about back door deals. And given JK's recent interview where he said his goal is global pop stardom, it's disappointing that Hybe isn't doing bare minimums imo.

Hot hits USA is the worst. We got no debuts on it throughout the week but they finally added seven today at a trashy position too. KPOP is just a new song but already at number 2 on this playlist. Newjeans already debuted on it before the week ended.

We are also literally almost at the bottom whiles all the songs seven is competing with on the US main chart in top 5 are all comfortably in top 10.

Then you have Newjeans being ahead of seven at 11 whiles Jk is at 21. It’s a whole fcking joke

JK’s song is pulling more income than Newjeans album will ever do and it’s not a shade, it’s a fact. It’s the fastest and most consumed song released this year to reach 250k units already in the US. It’s doing insane downloads in Japan and basically out streaming Idol. BH are better off investing in seven on streaming platforms.
