first of all it is unlikely that such artist will acknowledge KPop as being real.
Second it does not add the Kpop figure anything. I don't think any major figure attended the event held by Anne-Marie, who was popular in Korea, since there is nothing to be gained by associating one's self to Anne-Marie, a relatively minor figure as far as the world is concerned.
