If Sana was Korean, she would have been a much more bigger deal in South Korea than she is now

Sana has always been among the most popular I Korea. She just never got promo in Korea. Thank you JYP.

She could've easily been the IT girl of 3rd gen if she was actually promoted. She didn't need to be Korean. She's still popular.

But to be as popular as Suzy was? I agree cause for that she would need to make an acting debut and Koreans will never cast a Japanese, no matter how popular they are.

I don't think her trajectory would be vastly different given JYP's overall lack of individual work for group members.

I think the same reason why Yooa from Oh My Girl isn't as popular as she could be, because both her and Sana's face has changed a lot since what it was at debut.

Just compare Sana with Sakura.

Everytime i think about what JYP has done for Sana it makes me weep at the absolute waste of talent. Sana not only has the visuals and stage presence, but also the personality to sweep everyone off their feet, we're talking the J version of Somi's 4D personality. Sana was literally born to be an idol. Her Korean fluency alone is off the charts, Sakura and Sana are equally entertaining and witty but Sana's Korean blows Sakura's away but look where we are.... Sakura has her own highly successful YT channel and has appeared on countless varieties, she is making connections and building a name for herself within Korea's Kpop fanbase. Sooner or later, she might actually breakthrough to the mainstream GP, and be mentioned along with the likes of WY, Jennie, Hwasa, Irene, etc.
