What happen to Reddit?
Reddit is changing their policy regarding API access. So like you can create an app that calls Reddit and create your own Reddit app with special features.
Basically they’re increasing the prices to be exorbitant. essentially killing all third party apps.
Apparently mods use it a lot and some power Reddit users. So they’re all mad and all the big sub reddits are going private/becoming inaccessible till Reddit answers everyone’s concerns.

I cannot wait to read their threads
Yeah we need fresh bloods.
Current aKP users already know each others trigger points and it’s not fun anymore.

There will come an era where akp trolls are reigning supreme.
On other notes, I've stumbled upon some kpop subreddit post that are saying that reddit is their refuge camp since akp is a hell

As a company that are built with communities, it's surprising for me that they take that action, as if they didn't ask their users first.
I'm afraid that this will be like what damage that WoTC got when they decide this almost similiar things (killing the community's stuff). WoTC (company that made D&D) are boycotted by almost all of its players and communities. They all run into other games, heck even other game company use this as an opportunity to gain new customer by ensuring good things for the community that are disturbed by wotc. D&d community even boycotting the D&D movies that should've been wotc's big revenue source this year.
For reddit tho, I wonder what are another forum-based sites that supports infinite topics like that? (Since akp, well, is mainly on kpop)
The funny thing is, it's said that reddit took this action since they want to had an IPO. Well, it might be not effective if many of your user halting the site activities or even leave.

I mean idk what % of their user base is using this stuff I certainly don’t. It looks to be a mod tool requirement.

well it's been long since we seen something like
"hey, I'm ..., I'm a fan of ... and ..."

Yeah, mostly those are a mobile app since after reading some posts, many mods tends to access reddit with their mobile device simply because they aren't sitting in front of desktop 24/7
That and plus several modding features that they say more better than the og reddit.
At a glance, Apollo looks like Twitter. So they used it both for better UI and better UXScreenshot_20230610-142556.jpg

The apps became important to the community because they offered a better experience than the stock app. You see reddit like other places often treat their own paying customers worse than people getting their content for free. Thr app itself sux ass has a worse user experience and isn't compatible with many accessibility features. One of the main reasons people are upset with reddit is some of these third party apps are essential to those who are disabled especially blind people who used these apps to screen read for them. Reddit effectively priced most of these companies out of the market.
All these changes to things like reddit Twitter twitch intsa etc is coming because interest rates are coming up from clown world time's and all of these "tech companies" are realizing they need to actually make money to function, they are coming off the high of using investors funds as most of these companies made no financial sense they generally are not profitable and make no money. Now they are realizing they need to "get a job" and is now trying to milk cash from whatever now which will lead to bonehead decisions their customer base won't agree with.

As long as they're not negative, they're welcome.

Lol.
I hope it’s not the “I’m not a misogynist because I stan GGs but here are 50 reasons why fangirls are scum” crowd
I don't think we get more visitors.... I mean when a few months ago 2 competitor websites of AKP closed down and I thought AKP could gain more users since 2 forums closed down... well that was also a flop cause nobody came over
