Produce 2 is the best survival show season in kpop history, period just way too many iconic and memorable moments, no wonder it was so popular

Boys Planet is the one with the trainees I like the best though

That's hard because I like Produce 101 for giving me Wanna One and X1, but at the same time I enjoy Peak Time a lot.

Although I wasn't a fan of the show, I'm still thankful to Who is Next and Mix & Match for ikon and Winner.

So definitely tough to say, but the best show in terms of how comfortable the idol's were and how much fun they had and the good experience, I think it would have to be Peak Time.

But did BP also has a literall riot caused by the CEO of your ulti group cause the terms and conditions of the contract were so bad that after she was literally the only one who read the full thing figured the contract was just benefiting YG and making all the other companies literally go bankrupt so that she talked to YG and he just made fun of her for saying that the contract was bad?

The CEO of Beat Interactive later on publicly said what it was that made her so freakingly mad at YG and why the groups arn't even debuting

The terms and conditions of the contract:

• YG wanted to keep the winner girlgroup and winner boygroup for at first 3 years
• Of these 3 years he wanted to keep the groups 6 months a year
• He wanted to produce 3 albums in the 6 months, so a total of 9 albums in 3 years
• He later on said he wanted to keep almost all of the profits that the groups would make and only send 10% or lesser of it to the idol's companies and of these 10% the company should keep most money, so basicly the idols wouldn't be payed in the worst case
• He only allowed the companies to keep the members in the 6 months that they wouldn't promote in YG but Beat's CEO said if they allready overwork them at YG to make 3 albums in 6 months than she can't understand how the idols should still work in their original company cause this would overwork them way more and in the forst case even do bad things to the idols, but YG didn't cared when she said that
• YG also said that if the girlgroup and the boygroup would be sucessfull he would give them a 5 year contract on top after the 3 years run out, this would totally demage the original companies of these idols, since some companies had more than 1 idol winning on MIXNINE
• YG also didn't listened when Beat's CEO said that the allready existing 3 year plan could ruin the companies with the least amount of income when their idols would go to YG but he only pushed his "but you get them for 6 months a year and your groups can literally perform 6 months without the other members".

Cause of the reason that YG also said a lot rude stuff to some of the CEOs and the idols before during the show, Beat's CEO said that all the terms and conditions are so bad plus that YG was even being extremly rude, so that she said in order to not get bankrupt and having to close down all companies shoould not sign the contract that YG did or else it's over for some companies. Beat would've been one of the first who would've closed down if they had signed the contract instead of cancling on it, cause she had 2 of her 5 idols winning on the show and her first group was just newly debuted in the same year so she said that her company was at a high risk if she would've been loosing 2 members. Plus at the same time in her company a 3rd idol won on a 2nd survival show so having 2 people left from 5 would've been quit unfortuned for her. I was actually happy that non of the groups from MIXNINE debuted cause I can't imagine how it would've been if several companies had closed down cause of YG's dumb contract

Yeah YG after the show was bad not really arguing against that.

MixNine flopped, this is the true reason of why the group didn't debut imo. Have the shown had good ratings and online engament they would find a way to make the contract works

To put perspective, the winner of Mix Nine was the #40 on Produce

If JBJ with several top 30 trainees sold only 130k It's hard to think there was much hope for this group, likeky would end being like a new UNB and sell maybe 60-70k

Being temporary, you don't have much time to grown fandom, survival show groups needs to be successful at debut
