That makes me wonder now which groups today have GP and very little fandom. Feels like all kpop groups now only have fandom.

To a certain extent, maybe GIDLE. Their sales have skyrocketed but compared to groups like NWJS, AESPA, IVE they are still one notch below in term of fanbase (as proxy by physical sales)

WGs and miss A were well known for their Songs but neither were popular enough to convert Listeners into Fans.
SQU4D were able to follow Itzy's example by having a Showcase Tour because the itinerary was similar, they had the Contacts needed to make it happen and NMIXX had strong Album Sales that could cover any losses.
On the other hand, neither WGs or miss A had the popularity to do something similar because you had people loving the Songs but stopping before becoming fans.
