well nct lab was a whole scam
sm has pretty much abandoned nct 127
i mean yuta ran to japan the minute he ended promotions for the last nct 127 comeback and now johny is in the US, and mark and haechan still have the problem of being in both units at the same time but i guess none of those people who were begging nct dream to stay cared about how that would affect 127 but this is also sm's fault its just a mess.

yeah. i just don't get it.
you could argue that "maybe he doesn't want any schedules" i find that excuse hard to believe. you're telling me one of the best (arguably maybe even the best) vocalists in nct, someone for whom singing is his biggest passion and sth he was born to do, doesn't want to have his own solo debut, after only having very few solo songs released in the past?

Since day one it was obvious with the NCT system some members would get neglected just how in Akb some members never see the light of fame despite being part of this giant brand there is more 20 members in the group so it was obvious some wouldn't receive the same treatment, in a group with 6 people some members get neglected so imagine a 20+ group

Funny enough having a big group like this works in Japan. I mean if any group of EXILE TRIBE is not promoting than you find at least half of the members acting, other members modeling, some members releasing solo stuff, than some members being in other projects too, etc. and the company who has them is trying to do the most they can with each and every member (or as much as the members even want to do)
It's so odd to see that SM can't do that and has only 1/3 of the amount of members. Literally EXILE TRIBE was the inspiration that SM had for it and SM be like poop with this type of concept

but you got a group of 25ish members? i lost the count, if someone would have a solo first that would be another member with better visuals, aka Jaehyun. I think he has one, not sure.
And for what i saw in SM plans, they have a ful plate coming, even 2 gen has more luck, i guess they are doing the work on their own, like Key. Even being a 2 gen he has 2 albums very close to each other, and he did great. But he stated that he had to do all the work. I think SM would let the idols do their own work, but if Tael stay in his room sleeping he won´t get sh*t

i agree with you. Taeil is infinitely more talented than Lucas but sadly due to Lucas’ face (and possibly personality) he’s probably gonna sell more.
Kpop has never been about talent, but selling power which as almost no correlation with talent.
Jimin released an auto-tuned mid album and sold 2x more than RM’s legit masterpiece of an album and RM is actually an excellent rapper, which i couldn’t say the same about Jimin’s vocal ability.
