This is because of general forum rules. Attacking users usually gave you WP while attacking artists doesn’t.
I can’t say I completely disagree much tho. Artists will prolly never see this reply but ganging up on a user even if what they said is stupid has a direct consequence on that user. Which some may say they deserve it but I have no strong opinion on it.

1. Attacking users is allegedly against the rules ( I’m not really feeling it)
2. The ones who do that are hypocrites.
Also you don’t even need to shade their faves for them to shade the faves of the OP. This seems to be a natural response to every opinion they don’t like and don’t know how to counter with arguments.

Personally am not one to shade idols
I don't do that.
But i don't get this logic. They shade your fav, but you should not shade theirs.
So basically you are telling me to take the high road and be the bigger person
Like flossy likes to say, don't tell me to take the high road, there's traffic on there.
Not taking the high road, but if you wanna shade you should just directly shade the user no?

If that's the example you want to follow, so be it. But all that talk about "world peace" and peace in general requires MUTUAL respect - and that's a two way street. Two wrongs don't make a right.
And by the way, judging from this forum, the high road is the road less taken. Very little traffic.

I don't drag people's favs
If someone says " (blank) is soo amazing, they are the best singer/ dancer/ rapper/ whatever!" and that person is absolutely wrong, I call them out and try to explain nicely why they are wrong and give the facts
I don't really post about my favs a lot because I don't want to be labeled and I don't want my favs to be dragged because someone doesn't agree with me
