Rating AI Kpop covers based on how cursed they are

Rule #1: all AI covers are cursed and spiritually empty

Rule #2: Cursed songs can still be entertaining

I'll post until AI renders my posting useless or I get bored or forget

First up is 7/10 Cursed because

- it's pretty voice accurate

- Bruno's pronunciation is properly torched

- The moustache looks bad

- Hype Boy is a great song no matter how you arrange it

JenLisa doing tatu's All The Things She Said

8.5/10 Cursed

- the original is hot girl 101

- it probably should be 9/10 cursed but the actual concept is sick

- like, who wouldn't want an angsty rock song from these 2

- but tatu are kinda wack for their homophobia/queerbaiting i guess

- vocals didnt come out good

Drake doing ANTIFRAGILE

5/10 Cursed

- Vocal AI is so unconvincing here that it just sounds like Drake rapping over his phone playing Antifragile

- pronunciation sounds he's reading Genius Romanizations lol

- and it's not exactly exotic to hear him on a reggaeton beat LOL

- AI can't do full harmonies yet, but her unharmonised voice sounds so full anyway, so props to ROSE (or the AI idk, its legally murky territory)

- Massive synergy between the country-ish instrumental and ROSE's cursive voice

- or maybe because Australians are like warmer Canadians

2/10 Cursed

- just listen to this

- Ariana needs a lozenge

The reason why Blackpink's AI cover usually suck is because Blackpink's discography is very small. Considering you have to divide the song by 4 to get each member's voice, I can understand why the quality isn't great.

i like the Jisoo AI the best

Despacito here is a 7/10 Cursed

- i dont know if she's doing the pronounciation

- it sounds nothing like Jisoo in the high register but in the low its pretty spot on

- if she released something like this it would be an eternal hit

First one is only 3/10 cursed because those 2 have actually interacted IRL and the song kinda slaps with JK doing some of Ariana's parts

Second one is much more cursed because of MJ alone. 7/10
