Did Jennie make a mistake acting in The Idol instead of a Kdrama?

That's messed up. They could change whatever they want after they sign because breaking contract is a very difficult thing to do. I remember about how Brad Pitt tried to break his contract for the movie Interview with the Vampire but gave up because it would cost him 40 million.

she is my bias in BP
but as an actress I don't like her act in drama snowdrop
just say example
opposite of BoA I don't like her songs or as an idol
but I like her drama especially in Waiting for Love

or say Rose is my least favorite in BP but the best solo song among the members

one of the things they said about Jennie in the critics, was that her part was so small

maybe she didn`t want to have a bigger part, some people, when acting is not their thing, start small

also i heard many times that sometimes an actor can`t control the final product of a movie. They think they are signing for a great production and it ends up being bad

you can't just switch it up on the actors like that though unless it's a shady ass contract. a proper contract would protect them from that kinda thing and allow them to bail without any repercussions.

That's assuming the allegations in the RS article are true

Firstly, it isn't Jennie's fault if it's a misogynistic mess. The creators need to be held accountable for that. Being on a HBO show that The Weeknd is on is a big opportunity, it's easy to see why Jennie wanted to do it.

As for Korea... They hate on the BP girls for nothing anyway, Jennie is sadly used to it.

I wonder if you ever bothered to watch it actually a lot of people that watched it said she was pretty decent for an idol starting out the diction was the only thing could have improved. She only got hate because the story line was controversial . You always have negative things to say about her only because you think she is not talented

Jennie will be fine.

Jisoo's career survived being associated with an show that literally rewrites wartime history, Euphoria 2.0 will be fine for Jennie

And remember that basically every single actor in Euphoria, down to 'Ashtray' even, is at least a lowkey Gen Z icon because of it. The exposure on Sam Levinson HBO shows is nuts. She'd be brain dead to not take this opportunity
