I agree with this.
SVT have enormous sales, but Black Pink are more well known so they edge them out.
Mamamoo indeed 8th, though they are high on more casual love from Kpop fans. They're rarely in fanwars and people appreciate them without stress as they're not 'threatening their faves or something.
Twice used to be first on this list, but lost a bit of that compared to the others. I wouldn't count them out, though. Wouldn't surprise me if they suddenly rose in the Western market.
I would put Stray Kids somewhere on this too.

It's delulu saying SVST is bigger than EXO. SVT can even pull 4.5m+ pre-order this comeback but it's very different from BTS 7. BTS 7 is basically a repackaged album with a lot of new songs + higher price + no fansign/fancall + way less versions + ... SVT's songs now are more well-known among public but they're still mostly fanbase-driven. EXO has 2 legit hits among public which are Growl and Love Me Right. Hot is like the SVT biggest song to date but it's at level of Power at best.

BP - most relevant 3rd gen group remaining in Korea, worldwide fame and best GP performance in the US and elsewhere, massive global streaming beasts only behind BTS
RV - one of only two remaining 3rd gen groups relevant to Korean GP, their fandom continues to grow even after 9 years together
EXO - paved the way for Chinese fandoms in Kpop, owned the first half of 3rd gen
Dream - SO HUGE in Korea esp among the critically important teen/20 demo
Seventeen - massive fanbases in JP, KO, and CH
