Kakao money is wisely not used for playlisting in global charts as they are a Korean play. Thats why they focus their efforts on Melon/Korean charts.

I don't even like IVE but are we really about to act like they are flopping when it's a pre-release and managed to knock ditto off the number 1 spot on melon daily? Give them time, didn't they basically do no group promo since award season ended 2 months ago? This result is already very impressive.

I think Starship sees Newjeans smash with Ditto with no promo and want to try. But I don’t think promo is the issue, if the song is stronger it probably would be doing better.

lol Spotify Korea is worthless its even more nugu than Bugs there in terms of market share.

Melon is the only chart that matters in Korea, YT Korea is almost irrelevant too since it only comes out weekly.

Yes its #1 on Melon, but it [the song] doesn't really help them. Anything they released would have been #1 on Melon, considering promo on Spotify Youtube etc. has been pulled.
