Well I would say that Hybe acquisition definitely affected Seventeen and that their fans know the best to which extent but they adapted, it affected gfriend and nuest too. It basically affected everyone who was supposed to be affected lol.
But yes, me too, I will just wait for epilogue and resent exo for playing something lame as golf.

According to some tweets i read, changes regarding seventeen have been positive and it seems that the members are happy too. Nuest themselves decided to not continue, some members re-signed and some didn't, no drama there. As for gfriend; they released two minis and obviously didn't perform as well as hybe and source music had hoped and they disbanded them. At the end of a day, this is business, if you bring money then you're safe.

I am not sure about nuest, but gfriend literally built source music they were defidefinitely profitable and even if they weren't out of little respect Source/Hybe are supposed to have for them give them their trademark and let them continue together somewhere else (which is what gfriend members are trying to do).

Gfriend was literally one of the most sought after group for festivals, they were definitely making money. There are metrics other than sales, which people usually tend to focus the most.
17 was definitely impacted in sense of not being able to perform on MBC (where they regularly had shows iirc), bad merch, uglier lightstick lol, worse album quality, part of bigger machine that's hybe compared to peldis and their music definitely changed but that can be their 17 members choice.
They did gain some connections from Hybe for US promotions and that's about it.
