STAYC “Teddy Bear” : BOP vs FLOP

I'm not listening to a song named "Teddy Bear".

Objectively, not bad

But not my taste either

Their best song still is So Bad

that's three extremely good title tracks in a row from StayC(Run2U, Beautiful Monster, and Teddy Bear). I love this one it's just so fun and energetic and is an interesting change up from the subdued sound of Beautiful Monster but still retains what makes StayC good, consistent melodic writing and a banging instrumental.

A bop. Now THIS is refreshing, everyone uses this term for that other group without even knowing what the word means lol. Stayc went against the boring trends and came out with a retro pop rock song that hits. Other group songs labeled as "refreshing" use the same ol trap beats that everyone has heard a billion times already.

Honestly it's blop for me i knew the song wouldn't sound good since the first teaser and it seemed like their producers were trying to recreate poppy sound and they failed also i feel like they're kind of loosing track with Stayc, according to the members their might be a repackage on march so hopefully the song will be better

The song is nothing special but it's cute and upbeat and something I can add to my workout playlist. And sometimes that's enough.
