Jin trends every damn day on Twitter. They are trending Captain Korea because he is serving in such an excellent manner. I had no idea so much news would be shared regarding Jin’s military service activities.
Chris Martin also keeping Jin in the forefront by performing his song on SNL.
Then the sold out Yet To Come in Movie Theatres.
Heineken Beer posting about Jin is crazy

BTS definitely.
They had all their pre-enlistment plans cancelled due to covid and now have had to stop activities because of enlistment. I suspect no other band will ever lose as much as they will by not touring the next two years and capitalizing on all their hard work since 2020.
BB toured and did solos before enlistment. EXO was already stagnating before their oldest enlisted. NCT 127 is also not growing a lot, unlike NCT Dream.

Enlistment isn’t affecting BTS but the damage HYBE did to their image before enlistment affected their popularity in South Korea. Only the truth can give us the full picture of what was and is going on with HYBE and we will never get the truth. Unless Tae decides to expose it. BTS is doing better than fine in the rest of the world and ARMY will prove this in 2025.

ONF missed the chance to perform their most famous song since they decided to enlist all together (except for U since he is Japanese)
A.C.E also lost a lot chances to release new music (which also could make them more popular if people would find them) and well they are most likly only back in the end of 2024 since their youngest member is in the army till 2024
VIXX, not only that there are still members in the army, the group had no full group release in 5 years and than Ravi fucked his own career by trying to not enlist ... (if you missed out on it, it was revealed that he went to a doctor that prescribes celebs and athletes that they can't go to the army even if they arn't sick and the media found out about Ravi going to that doctor since he dosn't wanted to enlist)

The tour got cancelled which is huge financially and sucks for them as preformers, but honestly quarantine expanded the fandom so much. Everyone at home looking for something to do and millions got into BTS content.
It also gave them Dynamite. And while I know a lot of people dislike the English trio, Dyna is far and away the biggest Kpop song ever.

it really hurt financially
BTS failed to exploit the opportunity, and is now being overshadowed by others

Yes, but they're better people for the experience and I haven't heard any that has regretted it.

cos it is bad for their image , of course they can´t tell

enlisting together has its pros and cons going in rotations keeps the group name alive but may take longer for a full group comeback. I think a.c.e and onf was smart going together. Get it over with come back and not have to worry about it. Seemed like ONF was having a blast with the performances they put on

I have heard several groups say including Super Junior that they have all benefited from doing their service and how it has been a life changing experience and all the skills they've learned for life. I have heard them many times say how it was a good thing and seeing as my own late father was in the Army and served in Korea, I agree with him about national service. It isn't a bad thing.

yeah, so they changed their tune lately.
they totally said on past interviews how hard it was. I was a Super Junior fan, so i know
Many had said (super junior members too) that they didn´t like going to shower, cos all eyes were on them
all the time. The lack of privacy is worse for idols.
and Taemin was going a really bad time.
GD situation was terrible.
