LSM wanted rise as tt, but Taemin went with Move

LSM wanted yellow tape as tt but Key went with bad love

To be honest, I don’t vibe with NCT 127. I don’t like their songs and was worried Exo was gonna sound like them. I liked Nct dream’s hot sauce album but after that was downhill for me. I like Aespa for their vocals and older songs but l prefer Blackpink latest songs compared to Aespa’s. His older works were excellent but I just don’t vibe with the newer sound. I find myself liking newer groups from other company like Stray Kids better.

So I’m not oppose to change.

I agree, People don't like Lee Soo Man, but you're right about that. I heard the he has fingerprints on Psycho and Red Flavor. So he really understand good music. As you said, he was really finding good r&b music for Exo and Red Velvet.

If you're a senior in SM, you're highly respected. In this aspect, Sm is a good. Also I think it's important to be determined in life. If they are really determined in their requests, companies do not ignore them, they say ok and take their opinions into consideration.

im the most worried about the vocal standards tbh i don't want those to change there are many kpop groups whose vocals make their music unberable and i would really like if that wasn't the case for sm groups.

He just does debut stuff and initial concept vision. You know he hasn’t personally worked on anything related to EXO in a very very very long time right? Maybe he worked with them till around first 2-3 years max.

As we can all see it’s debut and new groups SM have been struggling with lately. The quicker he leaves the better

Nah EXO select their own music as they have mentioned many times over and over again. The only time LSM has worked with EXO is their debut concept, Baekhyun’s debut concept etc and perhaps the first few years.

That dude is not working on releasing every cb for SM groups nor has anyone ever spoken about LSM involving himself in the creative direction that closely beyond debut years.

Kai insisting on Growl and Love Shot aka exo biggest hits.

Taeyeon insisting on INVU which was one of the biggest hits that came out of SM in 2022.

Many more examples, but these popped up in my head first.

I don't think exo's music is going to change if their usual music producers are still under sm, maybe what will change is them not having the aliens concept if they decide to not follow it anymore

I think SM reached that point where change was definitely needed. While LSM originally thought of exo concept he wade it completely irrelevant in 2021 when he quite literally dismissed their concept for some Kwangya plot. This tells me that after 30 years there was clear saturation and he couldn't think of new better ideas.

I think team with new, ypung people with different perspectives and outlooks is excellent idea, the best thing SM can do at the moment. To everyone it was quite noticeable SM was led by boomers who are completely lost in modern technology and approach young people want.

It's not like LSM is only experienced person in SM, there is whole team of people who worked just as much as he did and they know how to handle things without him. Good things are ahead of us, once this mess is over, trust me.

It's SHINee who says no to them? Also over time LSM has grown a soft spot for them especially Taemin. Taemin says he wants something he gives it to him. Lol just like that ring Taemin pouted saying he wanted one and lsm gave him his ring off his finger lol.
