Who will sweep the Daesangs now that BTS is gone?

If no bigger hit will be released this year, New Jeans have SOTY on lock. NCT (any of their subunit), SKZ, SVT or TXT will win the AlOTY that consider Album sales. IU will win Aroty/Aloty if she releases an album this year for Melon. Otherwise, LWY will win in Melon and Genie

I don't think any group is going to sweep. There are multiple groups standing out in diferent areas.

For now, I think SOTY is lock with Ditto, because It's a big smash hit so early in the year and It will have the whole year to acumulate as advantage.

ALOTY is probably mostly going to either Stray Kids, Seventeen or a BTS Soloist member (depending on timing and how thing will be handled in terms of versions and management). But there is the MMA AOTY/ALOTY that maybe is going to either IU or LWY.

AOTY on MAMA is the most unpredictable, I have no idea. And MAMA changes this criteria every year. The WWI my bet is a BTS member or Stray Kids.

EXO maybe? Aren't they making a comeback after Bacon comes back from the military? I'm excited to see how they will do as a full group again.

The votes would be split into 4 tho...

I would say bts members however they would be split up and sadly I don't think people in the fandom care about giving the individual members an award as much as the whole group.

I would say probably Newjeans or IVE right now, and if not them the next best choice would be IU or LYW

For the digitals it’ll be New Jeans without a doubt. They can actually sweep MMA and GDA digital daesang as well. IU and and the trot dude also have a chance.

For now the candidates for daesangs are NJ, Stray Kid, TXT, NCT and Ive (maybe, must look their cb this year)..

noo i didnt mean this to be rude . Im an army. I just meant that recently its even been hard for us to win group popularity awards and so for the people who either don't or barely vote already, they arent going to do much with SOME of the members solos. A majority of I-armys do stream and vote, but k-armys haven't been doing as much lately as we could see with JITB. Hopefully we can all do better with the upcoming albums though.

We can get another smash hit and it still won't break ditto because it's itself a smash hit with the longest period of tracking time.

AlOTY TXT or stray kids. These groups surpassed the album sales power of svt and nct dream. Especially when txt have an another comeback after this successfull comeback where they will have even more Sale power than right now.

But I see the possibility that Jungkook will beat both groups if he will get a regular Solo debut with normal promotions (not even big) he is a superstar. The other superstar V will probably focus in dramas and movies.

AOTY will be probably Newjeans, IU, LYW, Jungkook or definitely Blackpink if they get an another comeback.

Overall it's hard to predict what will happen since it's so unpredictable to say who will be successful who doesn't. TXT is the best example of that.

I thought of them a regular successful boygroup but with this comeback and the ridiculous surprise in digital and physical they are definitely the number 1 of the 4th gen boy groups.

For MAMA, likely no one. NewJeans has great physicals but not enough to compete with SVT, NCT Dream, SKZ, or TXT. If NewJeans sells 2M with one album they might sweep at MAMA but that's very iffy.

NewJeans could sweep at MMA if IU doesn't release an album this year.

I think the awards will be given out equally to the ggs

SOTY will probably go to New Jeans except if there's another Dynamite blocking it...

well yeah (sadly) depends on who's doing solo but we still try to help & vote

on weverse ARMYs constantly remind me of what to vote which is good cause if not i'd forget!

but yeah let's do better with the upcoming solo releases (remember we still have an OT7 song on the way as part of Pharell Williams 's album " PHRIENDS")
