NCT Dream I feel personally don't count, because they was only able to chart this high because of a popular remake💀, A song from a popular group at the time.
So I would need to see NCT Dream do that with THEIR OWN song, then we can talk.
Now TXT on the other hand.......they have always done well on Korean charts since debut. Maybe not as high as this, but definitely was the only 4th gen boy group the Korean GP seem to care for frfr, even if its just by a little bit.
So TXT being this high doesn't surprise me, plus their music is actually good..like FRFR, and that's why kpop stans aren't hating on TXT doing this well, cuz TXT music spoke for itself, and its finally getting the deserved charting and sales

What matters is they are on track to have a strong domestic core fandom. It’s important and will be such a huge milestone for them too. Who knows next year they can headline a domestic stadium concert too ala NCT Dream? They surely have the strongest domestic core amongst 4th gen tho, they only need to build audience.

But it is showing an insane amount of growth in that fanbase considering TXTs bsides did better than their title track last cb. One things for sure... that fanbase of TXTs is growing and quite a lot. Definitely more than most 4th gen boy groups. Hopefully the song remains stable so the gp can maybe find it

for TXT it's clearly fandom streaming, the song was released recently, it's not unusual for BG to chart very high on Melon the first day and then be very low on thee daily chart and fall quickly the next day in the chart
and for NCT dream i think it's safe to say that the remake of Candy is an organic hit, the song is charting for 5 weeks in the melon top 10, if it was carry by the fandom it would have fall in the chart already or be out

Of course it's fandom streaming for a new song to land high on melon. But this is impressive nonetheless considering how difficult it was for 4th Gen BG to get decent results digitally on melon.
