In my opinion, I don't think Winter is that pretty.

Ning Ning is definitely the prettiest member of Aespa

I guess it all just depends on what your personal tastes and likings are when it comes to beauty and visual styling, including the vibe someone gives off (some people don't like cold, distant aura someone gives off with their looks+expression, others dislike a too cutesy/girly leaning visuals etc).

I think that a lot of people also underestimate or neglect the impact that styling has on a person's looks and how different it can make someone's appearance, and they often confuse styling with visuals (or adhere the difference that good styling can give to ps).

Personally I like Ningning's looks a lot, but other times it's Karina's looks due to styling and how she uses and wears it, and once again other times Winter's (Giselle's visuals, sorry to say, the least, but that's personal preferences).

... also, I didn't even know that Winter was the designated main visual in Aespa? I thought that Aespa didn't really have an official main visual, not like with some other groups that have a clear, sort of semi 'official' main visual with near-unanimous agreement of K-pop fans.

As for K-pop fans hyping up Winter's visuals, there's nothing new to it, they do that at the same level and intensity with many other girl idols (and boy idols), including Karina's visuals of Winter's own group.

Karina is still the #1 visual in Gen 4 so far.

Every time someone is complimented for their visuals, another person just HAS to be like "well I don't think they're THAT pretty.. "

There’s lots of idols whose visuals i don’t like but I don’t see the need to announce to everyone whose visuals i dislike and put them down to praise another idol. Just weird

First it’s preference. She is gorgeous who can fit various styles and look unique. Imo she is not just pretty but WINTER with her name, personality and looks created a new aura and vibe not just a regular beauty of kpop imo.

Second, she or SM or whoever decides positions in groups never claimed Winter was the visual. People just assume she is because of her looks and some predebut fans thought it because her SYNK teaser was the only teaser not showing singing, dancing, or rapping.

aespa don’t have specific positions but when they do mention it, Karina was called the visual leader so…
