They're basically stranger, aren't they? But seeing them everyday even only through the screen, knowing their good and bad side, supporting them, i guess it makes fans feel really closed to their idols

Literally most of them, but a lot of them also have hardcore delusion armor so even if confirmed they come up with conspiracy theories that it's all a lie made up by the company. And this is also the major reason female idols get massive amounts of hate. These are all reptilian brain mating competition mechanisms that doesn't even register in people's consciousness
