Is it time for SM to listen to reveluvs ???

Red Velvet fans who are so high and mighty about diversity and how the group keep them guessing want them just to be like every other girl group?

SM gives the Velvet concept less unfortunately. That's what happened in Psycho. Before Psycho, they had 4 Red songs.(Power Up, RBB, Zimzalabim and Umpah) So I hope their CB this year will be their 3rd studio full album and I'm guessing Velvet title track. They couldn't have realized that the festival series was selling so much because it was a Psycho hit. Yes, Red Velvet is the bside queens, but without Psycho, new fans wouldn't be able to discover the album songs. If they are going to give them Red concept, they should give at least Red Flavor or Dumb Dumb quality. Even though I loved Birthday, it wasn't really catchy and singing rap style is RV's weakness. I think Feel My Rhythm was a Red +Velvet mix. In Queendom and FMR, their vocals shone much more. Red Velvet succeeds more vocal-heavy type songs

You initially equated Feel my Rhythm and Psycho under the same concept yet somehow think you disproved something here.

Not every Reveluv wants a new dark concept like Psycho. Look at AKP, the ones who spoke the loudest about wanting Psycho 2.0 two months ago are not even Reveluvs.

Red Velvet is the group who released Power Up, Rookie, RBB, Zimzalabim... It was never about the charts or what Korean people like about them. It was always about experimenting a new concept or sound each comeback. It's part of Red Velvet essence. Wneh you said that they were on the right track with easy to listen songs, you want them to chart.

True. I'm a Red Velvet fan because I love both concepts. I don't think only Red or just Velvet concept fans are real fans. Because they're usually just a casual fan who doesn't like either side. But sometimes they should listen to fans wishes. Why doesn't SM give it back to back Velvet? But they always gaved red concept. When they gave a red song, they repeated the concept even though they were operating in a different genre. They have 2 different concepts, Red and Velvet. And they keep repeating the concept of Red. After too many Red songs, they must gived at least one Velvet concept song. I think Sm intention for the Red song is more successful in Korea, the part of the concept that they can't be repeated is a lie in my opinion. If SM wanted Red Velvet to be more successful, they would have given Psycho after Bad Boy. But they never intended to make Red Velvet a big group.

They should definitely switch up more often between red and velvet.

Unfortunately the Velvet rarely wins if you compare their releases most of them are Red, you have;

Happiness, Ice cream cake, Automatic ( which barley got any promo) then Dumb Dumb followed by One of these nights ( which by the way was poorly received to the point the girls thought that they were done for ), Russian roulette and Rookie both red followed by Red flavor and then we had Peekaboo ( which i think is a velvet concept ) and then we had Bad boy ( it's a first for Red velvet to have two consecutive velvet concept ), and after that we only had red after red concept with Rbb being the exception.

As you can see Sm privilege the Red concept over the velvet simply because over all they are much better received in Korea on charts.

Bye Bye is a velvet bop and that's enough for me
