why Rowoon and Eunwoo cant help boost their group's popularity ?

liking one member doesnt mean they will care about the whole group

Kdrama fans aren't necessarily Kpop fans, and most of the time, they will not take interest in the group or other members.

People sometimes don’t know these actors even belong to idol groups. Maybe not enough people bother to look into it and just stick to casually watching them in dramas.

It's safe to say they're more interesting as individual than as a group.

This. The times I've really liked an actor, I've looked up what other kdramas they're in, not what other non-acting activities they might have.

Eunwoo's acting talent and potential is definitely more than his idol and musical image. How will people know and wonder about their groups since they don't sing in dramas? Competition in boy groups is also tough.

People allready complained this when they realised that SF9 has Chani and that was even before Eunwoo was a hot topic as an actor

Everyone was like "How is Chani so famous but nobody gives a fuck about SF9" and now it's the same but with Eunwoo and most likly later on Rowoon

The biggest complain about Chani btw is that he was in an extremly famous drama and his role wasn't too small so everyone wondered back than how nobody even got interested into any of the actors and actresses outside the drama (I remember how at the end the only hot topic for the drama was the OST that was done by SEVENTEEN)

I wonder about this too

Didn't their album sales increase a lot? I think they helped more in the "physical" sales than digitals and not even BIG4 bgs are charting good so how can you expect idols from non BIG4 companies and that are actually more known as "actors" to boost their groups popularity enough when established companies are having this same difficulty?

EunWoo was always more famous than his group and his solo activities also has almost nothing to do with music which gives him a huge solo fanbase exactly like the others actors/models.

RoWon will probably go the same path, so don't expect kdrama fans to become kpop fans..

Kdrama fans aren't even 50% kpop fans.
