Hello! So recently, bunnyviolet started a song battle for all of Monsta X's songs. It's pretty fun so far, and I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't already. It's a great way to discover new music. Before this started, the only song I actually knew for them was Who Do You Love, which is a very huge bop and iconic, but I didn't really know any other songs from them. I decided to be added to the taglist for the song battle to support my friend and discover new music, but I'm not sure if I'll love it or not.
Today, I listened to all of the songs for the song battle, and all I can say is WOW! Their discography, at least so far from what I've listened to (about 13 songs or so) is really good! Like, really, really good! So far, there has not been a single song I have either disliked or been overly "meh" about. Sure, I like some more than others, but they're still all good. In fact, if I remember right, both songs in the fifth battle were so good that I couldn't bring myself to vote and choose one over the other. If Only is such a bop, and I don't think I'll stop listening to it for a while. Love is great as well. Seriously, why didn't I check them out sooner? Sure, I heard of them before, but after knowing that Who Do You Love is a bop, I should have checked them out more, instead of calling it good enough for now. I was missing out on so much.
Anyway, that's all, just wanted to make an appreciation post for the limited amount of Monsta X songs I do know, and brag about how good they are, highlighting a few in particular that I especially loved.
