Yes and I didn't like it. I prefer roller skating as that's what I grew up with.

I think yes, but I don't strongly remember it. I've wanted to get roller skates again, but a lot of the rinks around here have closed and ones that work on the road are expensive.

Nope...and I don't want to try.
I see these amazing ice skaters on TV and such and even though I admire their skill, any sort of ice skating...competitive, professional, hobby, just for fun...not for me.
I at least need to improve my roller skating...the last time I went (nearly a month ago) I fell on my tooshie so many times. And my dad says ice skating is more difficult, especially because they have blades (similar to roller bladding, I guess...)

Yep indeed. I skate casually every once in a while, and I know some basic skills.
I prefer rollerskating though, because I used to be a figure skater (with roller skates). I took lessons for a few years when I was a kid, but the reason it was rollerskating instead of ice skating was because I didn’t live near any ice rinks, until my family moved when I was in highschool and the nearest rink was an ice skating one. My dad used to be an ice hockey player so he taught me any important things about the ice that were different than what I was used to and I just transferred my easier skills from rollerskating (like skating backwards, spinning, one legged stuff, small jumps, etc).
It’s just a pretty casual hobby for me now.
