What was your top kdrama of 2022?

the beauty inside!!!

i watched this drama when it came out in 2018, but i was only 13 then so i couldnt really appreciate how beautiful the plotline was, i rmb telling a friend that it didnt leave a deep impression on me lol

so now that i watch it again, i gained so many new insights and it's a really lovely drama, definitely the best i watched this year

also business proposal hehe, no need words for this drama, love it so much

My second favorite was A Business Proposal.

I only watched two other dramas (one from another era) and two seasons of a web drama.

I was about to post My roommate is gumiho if I want to laugh and Uncontorllably fond if I want to cry but when I looked them up I realized I haven't watched a single recent drama... Behind the times as usual :P

Overall in recent 1-2 years, in no order that made it to my alll time faves list - left a very memorable impact as an avid Asian drama watcher:

Alchemy of Souls - season 1 (2022) - for now it's the only K-drama aired in 2022 I liked. Let's see if season 2 will be satisfying enough to earn the crown or bury the whole show for me (not fan of shows with multiple seasons)

My Roommate is Gumiho and Uncontrollably Fond. I've watched both more than once. Althought I'm reluctant to watch Uncontrollably Fond because I bawl like an idiot. Dear M. is cute too but I haven't finished it.

Alchemy of Souls (my favorite kdrama so far) the new season is off to a great start as well.

Usually a funny rom-com is helpful for my mental health, but when I’m in a particularly rough patch, I like dramas that can really pull me in through different emotions. A lot of the dramas on my list felt like a pat on the back at times.
