"digitals/charts aren't important"...

... flashback to almost every idol saying their wish for the cb is #1 in some charts, idols crying when winning music shows where digitals are an important metric and idols being loud about wanting that #1 yet again bc yes.

I saw some totally dismissing charts as if it's nothing when the companies and even the groups expect good/great results overall and charts are in this pack.

Obviously charts aren't the only way for a group to be successful neither are essentially what makes a group flop, but it is important even to this day. So yes, digitals matters to some idols the same way it doesn't to others, but it's still a metric to define "success", "trend", "status in kpop" and lbr, every positive result is a happy result kkkk.

Everything helps idols tbh so completely dismissing charts doesn't make sense, specially seeing how which idols were invited to festivals this year in SK.
