Hidden Gems #19: Always by Uni+G

Today's Hidden Gem is our third song titled Always. I guess songs with this title are destined to be amazing

This was the winning song for the original song battle on the series: The Unit. Its one of my personal favorite original songs from a survival show and this team did such a good job. I wish the Unit didn't flop.

So there have been lots of updates for the contestants in this group:

NC.A and Hyunjoo made it into the final lineup and debuted with Uni.T. The project group has since disbanded and unfortunately wasn't as big as they should have been. NC.A has made a couple solo comebacks since. Hyunjoo, I'm sure you've all heard about her in the news lately.

Yujeong has recently gone semi-viral with Laboum. The song Journey To Atlantis has been climbing up the charts because of its Spring-like feel.

Serri had a controversy regarding endorsing plastic surgery. I guess nothing much ever came out of that, she has been a semi-successful YouTuber with over 30k subscribers. She also made her solo debut a few months ago.

Jiwon's group, Good Day disbanded, but rebranded into a new group: Cignature. They made a few comebacks last year. Some of the other members redebuted in a group called Red Square.

The other girls haven't done much since the music. I think the young girl is still a trainee under CUBE

It did! But they kinda shot themselves in the foot for the first couple of episodes, AKA the episodes that matter most.
