Doesn't matter. They don't need that many people in a given ethnic group to give samples to the point where they can identify anyone in that ethnic group, I read somewhere all they need is like 2% of people of that ethnicity's samples, then the database has enough of your distant relatives (3rd cousins etc) to identify you and everyone else in a given population etc. We are a lot closer related than many people would think.
If you have European decent, I would not be surprised if they can identify almost any people in that ethnic population. Since in 2018 the database was big enough to identify 60% of people with European decent in North America and was predicted to be at around 90% in two years.

Ehh, countries like Kuwait have tried to pass laws to require all citizens to be entered into a Gov DNA database. They canceled it in 2017 after the constitutional court said it was unconstitutional.

probably not - i already have a pretty good understanding of where my family comes from, and feel a connection to my heritage, so knowing that i'm 2% french from my mom's side wouldn't amount to much to me

My siblings gifted me a kit... I'm not sold on the accuracy and my siblings misunderstood what I wanted (to find *ancestors*).
I will say the same kit helped a first cousin connect with another first cousin to find her dad (my uncle), who had no idea she existed. Not completely useless I guess...
