I mean why it is a problem with blackpink only? No one says anything when other kpop groups are doing it or solos, with foreign artist or domestic, but blackpink and blinks are called success stans for that. Isn't collabs made to have good exposure and good charting for both parties? Why do artists collaborate all the time how do you think??? There are so many collabs to chart better in certain country, but when blackpink does it, its a problem 🤔 features are also collabs and artists do it all the time, it helps song a lot to chart. Isn't music industry a business after all? Yes it is, if anyone thinks otherwise, you need to wake up.
Why are blackpink downplayed for doing collabs?

Sour candy, kiss and make up were 100000/10 and BYW & IC were 8/10.
I beg to differ but to each their own.

Love Gags but Sour Candy definitely benefitted from BP. Same with others but Sour Candy is my favorite I love it so much

I'm gonna say something controversial here.
I don't think collab songs, for the most part, should be counted when comparing charting between groups. Especially local charts like Hot 100 and US Spotify. So many times i've seen Left and Right, Bad Decisions, Savage Love, Ice Cream, etc being used in charting fanwars but they're not valid. How can we determine how much of a song's success is due to BTS or BP, and how much is due to the Western celebrity they're matched up with?
An exception could be something like Mic Drop Aoki Remix, i think it is fair to count this because Aoki is just handling production, he's not a pop star.

You know billboard determines this right? Especially with savage love. The BTS remix gave more hot100 scores than the OG, that’s why the chart is credited to BTS and they had a number 1 to their name.

because their collab songs have been mediocre to say the least
