Why is SM skipping boy groop for fourth gen ?

All bgs from now on will be part of NCT gen. NCT will then assimilate every other group so that every single bg and gg is an NCT off shoot. The age of Fire generations will be over and the age of Dark NCT will be upon us.

They’re not skipping it NCT DREAM is only as old as 4th gen BGs. Why debut another group with members who will be the same age as them.

It's not about quantity nor is it a race. When they want to dip their toes in a new boy group, I'm sure whatever they'll put out will (hopefully) have great care put into it and will be great.

As a true SM stan I say, be patient Abs. SM has never let us down yet

NCT Dream is the fourth best selling artist in Hanteo and Gaon history and just played two nights in a stadium. No one is enlisting until 2028, which is plenty of time to launch new groups. They don't need a 4th gen group rn. That's rather the point of the NCT concept - a group that spans generations.

But FWIW they've already announced they're adding two more NCT units and debuting a new non-NCT bg. SM doesn't move fast, y'all. Just ask Shotaro and Sungchan or Kun and Ten.

There were rumors about a new sm boy group, unrelated to nct, but idk what happened.

Maybe sm decided to stick to the nct system for now and as long as it works out, they won't have to rush to debut another boy group. Boy groups stopped being companies' priority anyway, nowadays
