This type of mentality that you have to be loyal to your employers is dangerous (but what companies want). Ive seen many times my co-workers (who thought they were irreplaceable at work) were replaced easily when they got seriously sick or die (quite a few die from heart attack due to stress). So really guys, you don’t owe your employer anything. Don’t give away your health (physical or mental) for any job. It’s not worth it.

She doesn't own Sm anything lol she worked there and did her job and when new opportunities opened up to her she took the leap dear kids who are here on akp never desecrate your life to one company always follow what's best for your own interests you don't how fast a company can ditch you when they don't see any use for you

Reading this thread, she seemed to have pursued what was best for her career, which is what everyone should do. Go for the best opportunities that will benefit you in terms of development and achieving career goals.
In Asia, especially Japan and I also think to a lesser extent S.K. and involving the largest companies/conglomerates, there used to be a culture of company “loyalty” but that was when companies offered you a life time position, allowed to grow or move within its ranks/company, then retire etc. Those days have long gone. If anything, she had more claim of being betrayed than the company. Her talent and skills contributed to the company’s success but she was only partial compensated through salary but not ability to move up in the company; so she left.
Companies that don’t recognize talent or treat their employees well are the ones that are ignoring the potential risks.

i have had too many jobs in my life. In some countries or work fields working conditions given by companies are very poor. They will try to pay you less with more tasks and more hours. And informal or illegal work is very common. Also you will find the conditions are good but the working environment is toxic
So i kept changing and changing until i found a place i think is my better option. They like my work and give me benefits, all legal, not commuting much and it feels like a familly. Also i never do extra hours. So i am loyal to them, cos they treat me well (they are loyal to me too)
I have heard to many times of SM Familly, but then they treat their idols like s**t. But i guess that is the average mentality in Korea about work.
If her work conditions on SM touched the roof, and she was given a better offer somewhere else, why should she stay?
