First week sales have never been their strength even when they were the top selling gg per album. Can they compete with 4th gen is a good question but this isn't the metric to use for it
Itzy did well in the first week, so is not a JYP problem, RV and BP did well, so is not a 3rd gen problem.
I think they will sell a good number, but it would be hard to get top 3.
They have never great numbers on Hanteo. RV is doing better than Twice but FOL still selling more.

True, for over all revenues, they are still the #1 G.G.
At least in terms of music, if we add revenues due to sponsorships, Black Pink may come on top with all those sponsorships, BP are social media legends, YG is a genius on exploiting that revenue stream.

They may not be the top group, but they are a top group. They belong in any top 5 - top 10 Girl group conversation.
9 months, they almost sold a million last time (perhaps they did if we can get numbers from all over the world).
As someone pointed out above, they are slow starters, but they sell well.
Hopefully they are able to shut up all doubters.

That is impressive considering they were only selling under 200K per comeback for the longest time. Kpop album inflation makes the global inflation look like child's play.

I think they'll do well the fact that this is one of their longest hiatuses between comebacks will surely drive up the sales

yeah...they used to do like 6 comebacks a year alternating between Korean and Japanese releases.

1) they killed their chances early on, we know how
2) their concept isn't for China. I believe I remember Cry For Me outcharting any of their other songs
