The question is too ambiguous. Bigbang will always be the reason yg became a big company at all and they are obviously untouched when it comes to korean popularity, but at the same time bp have accomplished so much everywhere on pretty much every metric. If they arent already bigger they will be in the future

BB is the biggest Kpop act in history at least when it comes to Korean digital success. They have like 15-20 number one hits on Gaon or Melon including their solo releases. They were unstoppable, i think they're only behind IU in some metrics. I tried to count up all of Teddy's hits awhile back (i gave up i literally couldnt list them all lol) but i was flabbergasted to see just how dominant BB was in terms of Korean charts.
I dont think BP will ever catch them Gaon/Melon wise, but BP can continue to dominate internationally. For all of BB's domestic success, they couldnt come close to what BP achieved even as 10 month old rookies in the US.

Full impact will be seen in retrospect and since both groups are at different points in their respective careers, any comparison is going to be lopsided. For now, Big Bang remain the biggest act to come out of YG with all they've accomplished. They haven't even disbanded and may yet come back. BP is far younger and have not had the same time to create their legacy. It is undoubtable that they will leave an imprint, but whether it will be bigger in the end than BB's has yet to be seen.

what about international doesn't bp have more impact and success than BB outside of korea and i understand in korea bigbang has a legendary status
