My faves don't take 2 years to release an album and my fandom doesn't collect money for 9 months. And even if they did take 2 years they'd sell 2 million with their old albums alone. 600k in the first 6 months of this year. Do the math. YT has been heavily filtering the mass streaming views since the last couple of months. A lot of kpop fandoms weren't able to reach their YT target records.

I'm actually surprised Blackpink is doing this well despite all of this. If it weren't for the mass streaming filter, Pink Venom would've easily reached 150M+ views within 24 hrs.

Anyone have an hourly breakdown of YT views? There are 10.5 hours left if we average only 2 million per hour that would still get the number to 84 million ish, if 3 million per hour than 95 million is achievable.

I'm SHOCKED that BP has done this well, i thought YT algorithms put a stop to these kinds of numbers after Butter last year.
