If not for adults who should decide then?
The idols themselves, they’re independent enough to make their own decisions

Definitely not comparable but you know what, it’s that kids body they should be allowed to make their own decisions. At seven they would go on blockers at most just to stop biological puberty from happening. And if they wanted to medically transition, that would be their choice. Not yours.

Idk if you’re serious or sarcastic
Minors shouldn’t debut but I think there is a big difference between say a 16-18 year old person debuting and a 12-15 years old person debuting
because when you're younger you don't really understand
when i was younger i did not have an issue w minors debuting because i was delusional
i'm still a minor but now i see so many issues w minors debuting
adults need to be protecting minors this is nothing new
different idols and trainees have talked about how stunted they are from training or debuting as young as they did.
even celebrities and actors outside of kpop have talked about how being in the entertainment industry at a young age has been detrimental to their health and well being.
look at all the hollywood child actors. not all of them are happy or well adjusted. kpop isn't any different.

But there's a difference between acknowledging these hardships, and stating outright that they wouldn't have done it if they had known beforehand.
It's because when you become an adult, you start to understand more about yourself and the world arround you. Sadly many teenagers feel like they are smart or intelligent enough to act as adults when they aren't.
So I don't understand why you are pissed about adult Kpop stans worrying about those minors debuting in the freaking music industry - which is known to be one of the nastiest industries to be out there; those minors debuting, not only they already need to work like they're adults, but they also expose themselfes to haters, stalkers, sasaengs, nasty people and creeps behind the scenes too.
