Based on what? His variety appeal? Perhaps in that regard. But since that’s not musical I suppose it’s a different ball game. Kyungsoo was in along with the gods one of Korea’s biggest hits and set to star as the main lead in the third movie, if we go beyond being an idol then we need to consider more.

Kai has the most successful international SM solo song of ALL times across male and female. Even more than taeyeon Baekhyun taemin and every one.

The only two people in this conversation are Kai (immense casual international support) and Baekhyun(immense fandom support). No one else at SM.
