i rmbr when irene was it girl and then jennie came out and took over so maybe that will happen in 4th gen too (if yg ever lets their gg debut) but unless that happens, wy has pretty much secured it girl position. girls like sullyoon, jinni,miyeon,minji, minju, karina, yuna, etc are really pretty but they're really not even giving wonyoung competition

Literally, what are you on about? Wonyoung is literally 17 year old. She hasn't even reached 18 yet. She is in the same age bracket as New Jean girls. She and two of the members from New Jeans are literally 2004 liners. As for the person claiming she is a 3rd gen idol simply because she debuted in 2018 (literally the day she turned 14, mind you) then by that logic G-idle who everyone claims is 4th is also 3rd gen.

And again, for the third time, she isn't 18, not yet. And even if she was, 18 is still not 19-21. You're seriously trying to stretch it and still don't make a point.

She was an idol since 2016, bp since 2018. And she didn’t become it girl till 2021
Who knows maybe other 4th gen ggs can get an it girl later. If wy didn’t become one until 3 years after debut (even Jennie 2 years) then it’s just too early to count out other 4th gen ggs

an idol’s actual age is irrelevant when you try to group them into “generation” when there are age gaps as huge as 8 or 9 years in the same group lmao are you telling me irene is 3rd gen while yeri is 4th gen, or park bom is 2nd gen while minzy is 3rd gen simply due to the fact there’s a decade difference between their ages? That whole age argument is so dumb. snsd’s seohyun is the same age as irene and solar but you don’t see people grouping them together as all from the same gen lmao
