Impact >>>>>>>> Charts/Stats

  • Example

    Life Goes On is doing great sales wise (thanks to Armys) but it is a non event. It didn't make any noise at all.

    Brave Girls' Rollin didn't have an impressive sales but it has more impact than Life Goes On.

    spill :flying:

  • While i agree just because a song has a lot of sales doesn’t mean it has impact. Saying that a song with low sales and weak chart performance has impact don’t make any sense. How do u know if a song has impact if u dont have sales and chart performance to back it up?

  • While i agree just because a song is really successful doesn’t mean it has impact. Saying that an unsuccessful song has impact don’t make any sense. How do u know if a song has impact if u dont have sales and chart performance to back it up?

    So let's get straight what you just said: having sales doesn't give you impact. But not having sales doesn't give you impact. But having sales AND chart performance (which Life Goes On did, see my above post about #1 in 90 countries, including #1 Billboard Hot 100, which only 2 other kpop songs have ever done, one of which is Dynamite)... somehow also doesn't give the song impact?

    What exactly is the standard here, because if "one of 3 kpop songs in history to top Billboard Hot 100" doesn't make a song impactful... what exactly are you looking for? Are you saying Dynamite or Spring Day (mentioned Spring Day because of charting for four years, not bc of Billboard) are the only impactful kpop songs ever made, because that is literally the standard you're setting if you think LGO had no impact.

  • Wbk. Kpoppies are always giving higher standards to BTS and treating them differently, even higher than their faves and pushing the goalpost. If another group had all the achievements LGO did, kpoppies will be praising them to the heavens :suggestiver:

  • I mean your examples are so flawed....

    But ANYWAYS DO CHECK OUT THE SONG PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

    They even have a remix version FKING BOP PLEASE DON'T LET THIS VIRAL MOMENT GO TO WASTE

    The song has to be good enough that once you listen to it you can cure cancer that is the impact antis are expecting from BTS

    :shake-it::shake-it:

  • the mere fact that this is your nth thread about LGO says enough! That's impact, can't even stopped talking about it! :-P:clown::akorns:

    Yup, and that’s the tea.

    :pepe-toast:

    OP, you closet ARMY you. Let’s enjoy the beautiful Life Goes On Unplugged. Love the guitar here

    LGO's sale is pure fandom driven. Stop being delusional.
